Language Mindset: Online classes for kids!

Apps Can’t Do This

Hiiiii ReaderI wanted to share a real story that perfectly shows why real teachers will always be better than apps.

One of our rockstar Spanish students recently wanted to add Chinese to his schedule. We were thrilled—until his mom reached out saying he was feeling discouraged. Learning Chinese is a BIG shift, and he wasn’t used to feeling “lost” in a new language.

Sound familiar?
It happens more than you think. In fact, I’m learning both Chinese and Farsi myself, so I get it—trying something unfamiliar is uncomfortable at first. 😵‍💫

But here’s the difference with us:
Instead of letting him stay stuck or lose confidence, we made a plan.
I texted with his mom, we made a few tweaks…and now? He’s feeling GOOD about the process. That’s the power of real-time support and actual conversations—not pre-programmed lessons.

Kids need: 👇

  • HUMAN encouragement
  • FLEXIBILITY when something’s not clicking
  • A CUSTOMIZED approach—because one size never fits all

I care deeply about how your kiddo FEELS while learning. Confusion is normal when something is new, but we always help our students work THROUGH IT, not around it.

Every kiddo is different, and we love that. Our team regularly chats and adjusts our teaching style based on what works (and what doesn’t) for each learner.

I just wanted to share this as a reminder that real growth happens in real conversations.

If you’re ready for your kiddo to feel seen, supported, and truly excited to learn a language—here's your invitation to book a free 15-minute Zoom call and let’s welcome them into our community. We have slots available in Spanish and Japanese!

Or text our school phone at 518-817-5253. I'm gifting $20 off your first month subscription for families who sign up before August 10th!

✨ Sometimes, one tiny tweak MAKES THE DIFFERENCE.

To your kiddo's fluency,

Juliana
