I’m Honestly Blown Away, Reader!!!

Today was the final class in our 6-week course—and I’m still amazed at how much these kids have grown. In just a few short weeks, they went from shy “Hola”s to full-on conversations. It’s wild what happens when kids are actually excited to learn.

And to be honest?
That wasn’t me at their age.

I failed Spanish at 14. Ended up in summer school because classes were so boring, I assumed I just wasn’t good at it.

Turns out I was—I just needed the right approach. The kind that doesn’t make you memorize endless grammar rules before you can say anything useful.

Now? I speak Spanish and French fluently, and I teach once a week at my old elementary school, offering fun extracurricular language classes to get kids curious before traditional school makes it feel like a chore.
