Language Mindset: Online classes for kids!

How London Started Speaking Italian at 11

When London joined my program, she was 11 years old.

She was a homeschooler.
An actress.
A singer.
Traveling the world with her mom, a professional photographer.

Her mom had studied in Italy years before and thought,
“Wouldn’t it be fun if London knew Italian?”

That’s how it started.

One lesson.

Not a long-term master plan.
Not a move abroad.

Just curiosity — and a parent who followed it.

London didn’t think of herself as “a language kid.”
She was creative. Expressive. Busy.

But she understood consistency.

When she joined, she noticed we did things differently.

We didn’t start with grammar charts.
We started with communication.

Full sentences. Real conversation. From day one.

I told her:

“You don’t wait until you’re ready to speak. You speak to become ready.”

She showed up.
She practiced out loud.
She leaned into conversation in Italian.

One year turned into two.
Two turned into four.

She’s 15.5 years old now. Or maybe 16 years old?! Ahh, time flies.

London chose courage over perfection. I'm so proud of this girlie, honestly...it's the best feeling to see a kid become a speaker of a new language. That's exactly what I want for your child, too.

She’s completed college-level Italian!

But more importantly?

She doesn’t “take Italian lessons.”

She IS an Italian speaker.

This wasn’t overnight.
She’s not magically gifted.
She had structure and professional guidance!

It started with one lesson, and she stuck with it. It honestly becomes a lifestyle and a way of living.

Because these are true private mentorship-style lessons, spots are intentionally limited.

Each teacher works with a small number of students so they can give real attention, real feedback, and real progress.

When those spaces fill, we pause enrollment.

It's our method that sets us apart; our communication-first method is the exact method I use when I learned my 9th language. We offer private 1:1 lessons in Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Farsi, Chinese, and German all centered around real communication and identity-building.

If you’d like to explore whether a private spot is right for your child, book a call.

We’ll talk through your child’s personality, goals, and schedule, and see if there’s availability with the right teacher.

No pressure, just clarity, Reader.

But if you’ve been thinking about starting… don’t wait too long.

The families who decide early are the ones who secure their place!

Talk soon,

Juliana

P.S. Turning beginners into confident speakers is tricky… but it’s our bread and butter. I’ve done it for myself (failed Spanish → fluent in three!) and for countless kids.
