Language Mindset: Online classes for kids!

This is why I love what I do ❤️ (and how your kiddo can benefit too)

Yesterday reminded me exactly why I’m so passionate about what we do.

I had the chance to push into a private school that’s using our easy-reader book series to teach Spanish to middle schoolers—and I’ll be going back soon as a guest teacher for 3rd–5th grade! The students had only read the first two chapters of The Word Thief (our first book in the series), and yet… we were having real conversations.

No grammar talk. No vocab drills. Just natural back-and-forth in Spanish.

These kids had never met me, but with just the story and a marker for notes on the board, we were speaking—confidently and joyfully. That’s the power of how we tell stories and how we ask questions. When I told them the series is available in 8 languages, one girl lit up and asked, “Do you teach Japanese?” (Yes, we do—bless her curiosity!)

As a lifelong language learner, teacher, and now author, it was one of those full-circle moments where I could honestly say: this method works. And kids enjoy it.

This week has also been full of amazing meet-and-greets with families interested in our private online classes. I’ve loved chatting with parents about their goals and watching their excitement as they imagine their kids progressing in Spanish, French, or Japanese.

If that’s something you’re hoping for too, I’ve got a sweet deal for sibling pairs who sign up this week. Want in?

Just reply to this email or click below to book a meet-and-greet today or Monday. I’d love to connect with you and learn more about your goals.

Let’s make language learning not just doable—but fun, effective, and confidence-building from day one.

To your kiddos fluency,
Juliana
