We’re Gathering Families! Is Yours In?

It's snowing Reader!!! Like big flakes of snow.

If you're new here, I live in upstate New York where we enjoy 4 beautiful seasons.

But that's not the reason I'm writing you.

Today, in a French conversation group I’m part of, I was sharing why I love languages. And the truth is—it’s because I love people. Sure, there are countless benefits to learning another language, but for me, it all comes down to human connection.

This spring, I’ll be visiting some Persian friends. Since I care for them deeply, I’ll probably brush up on a little Farsi—just enough to make them smile when I tell them, “It’s so good to see you!” in their own language.

You get the idea? Language learning doesn’t just happen; it takes effort and time. But the beauty of our approach is that we see it as a lifelong journey. There’s no rush, no need to overanalyze or turn it into a purely academic process. Believe me, I’ve been there—when I taught in a traditional classroom, I saw firsthand how over-intellectualizing language learning wasn’t helpful for anyone.

I know you’ve felt that frustration, too. And it’s disheartening to think that, for most kids, that’s their only experience with learning a language. But the fact that you’re reading this email tells me something important—you care. You want your child to grow up with language as a natural part of their life.

That’s where we come in. You turn to professionals like us because we know how to take your child’s hand and make that dream a reality—gently, naturally, and joyfully.

Since I’ve committed to learning with other French speakers, I get that built-in support and accountability—knowing that every Friday, I’ll be speaking French. I LOVE learning, and that’s exactly why I’m so sure that our language classes will provide the same joy and encouragement for your child’s growth in language learning.

We always have our 1:1 classes available, but I’m also reaching out because we’re gathering interested families for small, semi-private groups—so kids can learn together, hear each other, and feel motivated by their peers. Right now, we’re putting out feelers for families interested in Spanish or Italian.

Seriously, imagine this… in the next 90 days, your kiddo speaking in a new language. Not fluently—I’m not saying that. What I am saying is that they’ll be speaking, communicating, and understanding in a new language.

Do you want this for your kiddo? We’re here, always. Just hit reply! I LOVE when readers interact—it makes me so happy. So if you’d like to get your child (ages 8-12) on the waitlist for a semi-private group, reply to this email, and I’ll jot their name down.

Can’t wait to hear from you!

Are you in?

Au revoir!

Juliana
